JWA, Jin & Woo Architects is a USA & Seoul-based architecture and urban design firm founded by Jaeho Jin and Junghyo Woo in Chicago in 2018, and relocated its office to Seoul in 2022. We are interested in various fields such as architecture, urban, interior, product design, and proposes a reasonable solution. We are interested in the point of contact where architecture, contemporary art, science, design and emotion meet, and work together with experts from various fields around the world to achieve global and high quality design. Firm's major works include the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, the Seoul Photographic Art Museum, Gocheok Complex  City Main Library Gwangju and Youngcheon City Museum.

건축사사무소 제이더블유 (JWA) 는 2018년에 시카고에서 설립되었으며, 2022년 서울로 사무실을 이전하여 건축, 도시, 인테리어, 제품디자인등 다양한 분야에 관심을 갖고 합리적인 해결책을 제시하고자 한다. 건축, 예술, 과학, 디자인과 감성이 만나는 접점에 대해 관심을 가지며, 세계 각국의 다양한 분야의 전문가들과 함께 협업을 통해  글로벌하며 높은 퀄리티의 디자인을 이루고자 한다. 주요작품으로는 서울시 교육청 가작, 서울 사진 미술관 5등작, 고척동 복합청사 2등작, 광주 대표 도서관, 영천시립박물관 등이 있다.

Jaeho Jin l 진재호

Jaeho Jin is a principal of JWA, Jin & Woo Architects. He received his Master of Architecture from University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and holds a Master of Engineering in Architecture and a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Ajou University. He began his professional career working at Tomoon Architects & Engineers in Seoul, where he gained experience in a wide range of projects. He continued his career at DA Groups in Seoul, Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture (ASGG) and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), leading the design effort on Ramada Hotel in Jeju, One Bangkok O1B Tower, 330 N.Green St, O'Hare International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion and KAFD-X (Master Plan & Kingdom Tower at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) as Senior Project Designer. He is currently working as the Design principal at D&B Architecture and teaching as an adjunct professor at Ajou University.

Junghyo Woo, KIRA l 우정효

Junghyo Woo is a principal of JWA, Jin & Woo Architects. She received her Master of Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Korea National University of Arts. She began her professional career working at architecture studio hAND in Seoul, where she has held primary roles on a wide range of projects including Mimesis Art Museum, Mimesis Art House and SiSiKim Artmill House. She continued her career at Tomoon Architects & Engineers in Seoul, and Skidmore, Owings & Merril LLP (SOM), CannonDesign in U.S as a Project Designer. She is a registered architect in Korea, and a member of the Korea Institute of Registered Architect. She is currently teaching as an adjunct professor at Ewha Womans University and Gachon University.
